Where to buy research peptides legally online
Buying research peptides online is straightforward once you know what evidence a serious supplier should be able to produce. This page sets out the checks worth making before you place an order, the warning signs worth walking away from, and how Nordgen answers each point.

What "legal" means for research chemicals
Research peptides are supplied as laboratory reagents for research use only. In that context, legality depends on the intended use and on local law: research chemicals may be bought and held for laboratory work, while marketing or using them as medicines, supplements or veterinary products is not permitted.
Rules differ by country and change over time, so confirm the position for your own jurisdiction before ordering, and check import requirements if the shipment crosses a border. Nothing on this page is legal advice.

Supplier checklist
- Third-party assay reports. Ask for a certificate of analysis from an independent laboratory, not an unsigned in-house sheet. The report should name the compound, the assay method and the measured purity.
- Batch traceability. The report should name a batch code you can match to the vial you receive. A single report reused across every lot proves nothing about your material.
- A stated purity threshold. A supplier should publish the standard it holds itself to, and show both purity and peptide content rather than one figure in isolation.
- Storage and cold-chain handling. Lyophilised peptides tolerate transit well but degrade with heat. Insulated, tracked dispatch and clear storage instructions on arrival both matter.
- Shipping, tracking and customs clarity. You should know the dispatch window, the carrier, whether tracking is provided, and which destinations are served before you pay.
- Payment and order records. Whatever the payment method, you should end up with an order record, an invoice and a way to reference the order in support requests.
- A reachable company behind the site. Verifiable batch records, clear policies and a working support address are essential. Anonymous storefronts leave you with no recourse.
Red flags
- No assay report, or one that never names a batch. If purity cannot be tied to the lot you receive, the claim is unverifiable.
- Any human-use, dosing or therapeutic claim. Research chemicals are not medicines. A supplier that markets them as such is not operating within the research-use framework.
- No company details. No verifiable testing, clear policies or support channel means no accountability if something is wrong.
- No age or use restriction at checkout. Suppliers who take compliance seriously make the research-use and 21+ conditions explicit before you order.
